| Chapter 23; Me, You, and Youme.
Where does intuition come from? The nature of visions and communication. Information is communication or reception of knowledge. Therefore if we analyze the uses or miss uses of communication we realize the truth (lies) that we are programmed and conditioned with throughout our lives. What information do you have, and where did you get it from? Painting/ creations, I am not my possessions, so everything I make will have to be in service, but not in the product but in the doing, right? The life you lead verses the life you follow. You either believe or you don’t. Can we cut Occums razor in half with such an either/or? What about the middle path, of walking the line, both/neither. Our minds don’t like the game of paradox but it is inherent in all of our beliefs. Imperfect and false knowledge lead to imperfect and false beliefs, which lead to imperfect and false practice. Everyone had a practice they fooled themselves into following. All men die, but not all men truly live. Everyone has a life they follow, but who or what prescribes the laws, codes, and rules they and the universe follow. Whoa, there’s a big word, the nature of the uni-verse. That’s just a pretty picture waiting to be painted in my studio. So do you practice what you preach, I mean, practice what you believe in, or do we have beliefs that we don’t practice. I am only doing all the things I do because I believe in them, and don’t follow other modalities of living because I deny my belief in them. But I still do things that I don’t believe in them but I am willing to do them. Perhaps it’s all just what you’re willing to do. What is impractical, and what is impractical knowledge. I know the difference between speculative information and practical experiential knowledge, but there is a meeting place where one permeates the other and vice versa. Ideas give rise to theory, theory gives rise to speculation and hypothesis, and we test these out. Our actions are orchestrated by our belief systems, and our belief systems are molded by our actions and experiences. I think it is easier to change your actions to experience that which you can develop new beliefs through. Perceptual shifts in attitude are attributed to gaining new ideas, insights, revelations and epiphanies, but these coagulate with experiences, even if it is the experience or reading something new. To have an open mind is to be able to experience life without criticizing it with the lens of the past or the interjection of the anticipated future. To have an open mind is to allow experience to exist uninhibited by what we think we know. Flowing is the only way of knowing. Are some people able to change there ideas easier, while others are stuck in tradition and archaic modes of viewing things. How much of an open mind is too much of an open mind? You can never disappoint a man who has everything. It is much more exciting to let life live itself then to try to control it. Be present, that is enough. The sum total of my actions based upon the choices I create for myself. *If there is any thing that is worthy of my thoughts it is the existence and choices I make and the impact they have. I guess my purpose is to question, even question why I question. Why can’t I be pacified like most, or content with not knowing? Easy, if there is one thing I seek to demolish in my life it is being willfully ignorant. I may be precariously wrong, but if I know that I am wrong, and continue, that is willfully ignorant. So with my most benevolent thanks, I want to Thank you, for making it this far. |
