Chapter 21; Old enough to know; better

When I fell, I got up. And when I cried I laughed, and when I saw you, I smiled, and that meant to say I love you, and when I looked into your eyes, I saw myself, I saw infinity fold out in front of me. And I couldn’t even imagine of foreseeing what would happen next in the story, so it kept my attention as it unfolded.
I watched with joy, and everything dances for me. Babies being born and mothers leaving into the great Unknown. For countless times this one moment would happen. For the stories grew and grew and died and died, but for now they remained within a book, and this book is my life and I leave the pages blank in order to fill them up and write about you. This love, this adoration of the kindest persona, you. I write this to you to know you are.
Everywhere I go I see you on all the faces I meet whether of not you know it’s me. Sometimes I play hide and seek to get you to find me. I once heard a story of you that sounded so good the words seemed to lift right off the page and into my ear as if I was writing them in reverse. All I had to do was listen.
